Overview
The XF40Ti is a thermal imaging explosion-protected fixed camera station designed for use in hazardous areas in onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial environments.
It is constructed from electropolished 316L stainless steel for maximum corrosion protection and are fitted as standard with a sunshield and an integral thermostatically controlled heater element.

Thermal Cores
Fitted as standard is the latest generation FLIR Tau uncooled thermal cores in 324 x 256 or 640 x 512 (PAL) options. Control of the camera functionality is done via standard Pelco protocol. There are various lens sizes and two sizes of Germanium window for optimal specification configuration pretected by a 316L stainless steel grill. Exportable frame rates (8.3Hz PAL) are standard fit units with the option of full frame (25Hz PAL) available subject to licensing consent.
They can be used in conjunction with Oxalis video management solutions but is designed be compatible with most common Video Management Systems.
The XF40-Ti Camera Station can be specified with a conduit tail which is 3m long as standard but can be customised from 1.5 to 15m in length.
In conjuction with the XF range, external enclosures can be specified to suit individual site requirements. These can be Ex e termination enclosures or the Oxalis Ex d Transmission System with a range of powered devices and transmission equipment such as power supplies, IP encoding or analogue fibre transmission.
